The role of wallets is evolving. Once they were just asset management tools, but now they have become the traffic hub of the entire ecosystem — and much more than that.

Looking at the current wallet ecosystem makes it clear. Perpetual contract trading, prediction markets, various DeFi applications — these features are being integrated within wallets. Users no longer need to switch back and forth between platforms; they can complete a seamless trading experience within a single interface. This is especially attractive to two types of users: first, veteran users who are tired of the crypto space and need a simpler, more efficient interaction; second, newcomers who are still outside the threshold, as complex learning curves often discourage them.

Wallets are transforming from simple entry points into comprehensive traffic carriers. The higher the level of application integration, the stronger the user stickiness.

This wave of wallets has indeed become competitive, but what truly retains users still depends on product experience. Don't just pile on features to the point where users can't use them.

Stacking a bunch of features in the wallet to retain users? I don't think so; the key is still usability.

Wallet integration is indeed the trend, but whether users can be truly retained depends on the revenue. Without profit, who cares about your closed loop?

Wallet integration of these features, to put it simply, is like dreaming of creating a super app. But when it comes to actually using it, will it turn out to be a bulky mess?

Ha, wallets have really become platforms now. I understand the logic, but honestly, using them still feels a bit bulky. No matter how you spin it, one thing remains true—I still trust products that excel in a single function... The higher the integration level, the stronger the stickiness. It sounds like the tactics used by some big companies to create walled gardens—are they more convenient or just being hijacked? After all this time in the crypto world, do you really believe a wallet can solve all problems in one stop? But for beginners, saving effort is indeed a plus—at least you don't have to open five different apps to place an order.
