PIPPIN has provided a good opportunity in this recent market rally. I decisively entered a position at 0.110487, mainly because positive news came out, which is often the trigger point for short-term market movements. I closed the position at 0.111228, securing a profit of 12.86.
Honestly, the biggest takeaway from this trade isn't the profit itself, but rather reaffirming a principle: when news sentiment and technical signals resonate, seizing that window can indeed keep you in sync with the market. However, the accompanying questions are also quite pressing—how long can the market sustain after positive news? How long can the sentiment last? These are all uncertain.
Looking back now, I realize that engaging in news-driven trading requires a more nuanced assessment of the significance of the news itself. What level of positive news can trigger what magnitude of rise? How enthusiastic are market participants? If these two factors are out of sync, risks will surface. Therefore, before each subsequent entry, I ask myself a few more questions: Is this a one-time emotional boost, or is there a fundamental change that can sustain the upward momentum?
The most crucial point is—setting take-profit levels cannot be overlooked. The biggest risk in a positive trend is greed. Seeing the price still rising, wanting to grab a little more, but when emotions turn, losses can happen instantly. This time, I was able to secure my gains steadily because I took action promptly after realizing the positive news. In an information-driven market, the words fast, accurate, and stable are truly worth pondering repeatedly.
