Why do most people end up losing money in market conditions like ORDI? To put it simply, the habit of chasing highs and selling lows is amplified infinitely during a bull market.

Look around at people posting their daily profit screenshots; it makes you envious and afraid of missing out on that wave of wealth. When the market rises to the halfway point or even near the top, they finally can't resist entering the market. At that time, they still think it will keep going up, but within a couple of days, a pullback occurs, and their accounts instantly turn green. At this point, panic sets in—others are selling, so they hurriedly cut losses and run. This is a typical chase-the-highs and sell-the-lows cycle.

Even more heartbreaking is that many people go back and forth like this during a bull market. After cutting losses and losing money, they see the market rise again after a few days and can't help but jump back in, repeatedly getting cut by the market. Some even believe the bull market will never end, borrowing money, leveraging, and going all-in. Once the trend reverses, the losses can be so severe that they become unbearable.

During a bull market, greed easily clouds judgment. People only see the percentage increase right in front of their eyes, completely ignoring valuation and real risks. The frequency of chasing highs and selling lows is even higher than in a bear market, resulting in even worse losses. This isn't an issue unique to ORDI; it's a recurring tragedy across the entire market.

I backtested the historical data of ORDI yesterday. The group chasing gains and killing dips has a risk factor that skyrocketed. It's really time to wake up. On-chain data shows that the addresses entering this wave of FOMO have an average holding period of no more than 72 hours. They are either being cut or on the way to being cut [dog head]. To be honest, I’ve also traded in and out, but I eventually realized I was just the small leek providing liquidity to the whales. I'm still eating the cold leftovers of arbitrage opportunities. Seeing through all this, I still continue to play. After all, the safest place is in the eye of the storm. Anyway, I’ve already become indifferent to the account. Human nature is weak. Every time I say I won’t chase, but when the next surge comes, I can’t control my hands again.

To be honest, I've seen this trick too many times; someone always falls for it every time.

Honestly, seeing people around me losing money one after another is just unbelievable; it's completely self-inflicted. The pattern of chasing highs and selling lows has been played for many years and is still being repeated. I really can't understand it. How are the buddies who borrowed money to go all-in doing now? Probably not much better. In a bull market, it's easy to get carried away; everything seems to double, but a single correction can make you numb. It's really just greed and fear taking turns controlling the brain, nothing else. ORDI just exposes human nature; the market is always harvesting those who chase the highs. Instead of blaming ORDI, it's better to first fix this problem in yourself.

To be honest, this is just human weakness being amplified infinitely by the market. Nothing new. Jealous when seeing others make money, and eventually becoming a prep team for the chives. This path is a bit hopeless. The people who borrowed money to go all-in should be reflecting on their lives now.

Honestly, I can't help but get addicted to seeing others' share posts every day. I need to change this bad habit.
