As 2025 comes to an end, looking back on the most important insight of the year can be summarized in one sentence: don't follow the crowd to chase hot topics, focus on on-chain data.

At the beginning of the year, I set a trap in a mini-game within the TON ecosystem. I was worried that volatility would cut my positions, but a BNB fee discount from a major exchange helped me withstand the fluctuations. It may seem like a small matter, but saving on fees is, from another perspective, reducing the friction cost of each trade.

By December, I started using the copy trading feature, following the "low leverage grid" approach, and ultimately my entire account achieved a 38% return. The key isn’t how outrageous the return rate itself is, but that I set stop-losses throughout the process, allowing me to sleep peacefully. Many people are envious when they see this number, but in fact, disciplined stop-losses are the real moat.

One more thing I want to emphasize: while information flows quickly on exchange platforms, always remember to read the sentiment in reverse. When there are many people, it’s usually a chase to buy high; only when the crowd thins out and discussions cool down does the real opportunity often appear. I managed to hit several of these nodes precisely.

In summary, the biggest takeaway from 2025 isn’t how much I earned, but that I developed a logical framework: using data instead of emotions to guide trading, and discipline instead of luck to bet on next year.

There's nothing wrong with having a stop-loss discipline, but nobody asks about the drawdown when the return is 38%...

The discipline of stop-loss is something you only understand after experiencing losses. Most people fail because they are unwilling to admit defeat.

Stop-loss discipline is more valuable than a 38% return; this is insider language.

Stop-loss discipline is really a moat. Back then, I didn't have this thing, and I turned a small profit into a huge loss...

That's so true. Stop-loss discipline is really a moat, and many people fail here.

Stop-loss discipline is truly a painful lesson; I didn't take it seriously before until I experienced a liquidation once...
