Data is called the oil of the digital age, and advertising is the engine that ignites these resources. But this multi-trillion-dollar AdTech industry actually stands on a shaky foundation.

There is a classic problem in the advertising world: "I know that half of the advertising spend is wasted, but I don't know which half." Since entering the Web2 era, this ratio has only worsened. Click farms, fake bot traffic, multi-level black-box outsourcing—these tricks steal over $100 billion annually from brands. Advertisers pay for fake clicks, media sell diluted traffic, and ordinary users are trapped in endless privacy tracking. This is hardly a market; it's a "lemon market" where trust has completely collapsed.

To fundamentally reverse this chaos, which is even larger than financial scams, reports from Google or Facebook alone are clearly insufficient—they are both referees and players. What is truly needed is an independent, cryptography-based third-party auditing system. The APRO project is attempting to solve this problem by using zero-knowledge proofs and edge AI technology to create an "Attention Proof of Work" mechanism, aiming to identify genuine human attention within advertising networks—this has been the industry's Holy Grail.

In APRO's new architecture, verification logic has moved from the server side to the user side. This change may reshape the entire advertising ecosystem.

Basically, the whole approach of internet advertising has completely fallen apart, and everyone is deceiving everyone.

100 billion USD stolen, and we're still using Google's data... Isn't this just hand to hand?

It's the same old trick of cutting leeks, using data as oil? Ha, it's been cheaply sold off by big corporations long ago.

A $100 billion scam happening right under our noses every year, it's a bit unbelievable.

Is it that same set of cryptographic zero-knowledge proofs... Can it really break the deadlock this time? I feel like it's just the same old story with a different flavor.
