Looking back on this year's trading experience, the biggest gain is not getting rich overnight, but learning to respect the market. Before each position, I always set stop-loss and take-profit levels, never going all in blindly. It is precisely because of this restraint that I protected my principal during several major pullbacks, and even during periods of panic, I bought ETH and SOL at low prices. The subsequent market rallies made those positions quite worthwhile.

Choosing the right exchange is also crucial. Low fees, fast execution, and a wide range of trading pairs—these seemingly basic features, when accumulated, can save a lot of costs. Seamless switching between spot, futures, and financial products reduces the time and friction involved in moving funds.

This year, I also summarized some core experiences to share with everyone:

**Holding high-quality assets for the long term is the simplest truth.** Assets like BTC and BNB, which are top-tier assets, may experience short-term volatility that can be frightening, but in the long run, the direction is clear. Compared to frequent trading, enduring volatility is often the more difficult lesson.

**Don’t just focus on candlestick charts.** On-chain data, macro policies, and market sentiment—these often explain price movements better than technical analysis. Paying more attention to these can help avoid being cut.

**The power of the community is really significant.** The exchange’s forum is a great place to gather information. You can see others’ observations and thoughts in real-time, with reliable voices and noise alike. Learning to discern is enough.

Looking forward to continuing to learn and grow in this market.

Well said, restraint is really the first step to making money. I was cut many times before due to frequent trading. But honestly, I've heard the phrase "respect the market" quite a lot. The key is really to avoid going all in, which is the hardest part. I also caught the recent dip in ETH and SOL, and I've recovered quite a bit now.

That's right, stop-loss and take-profit really saved me several times, otherwise I would have gone to zero long ago. Where are all the people who went all-in now? It's hilarious. I also bottomed out during that ETH dip, and now I'm making a lot of money, it's all about patience. Exchange fees can really add up and drain you, switching to a platform with lower fees feels like saving a chunk of money. Looking at candlestick charts all day hurts the eyes; on-chain data is the real deal. The community is a mess, so it's good enough if you can pick out a few useful tips from the chaos.

The phrase "Revere the market" really hit home. Honestly, compared to those who hype up getting rich quickly, your style is the one that will last longer.

Well said, but how many people can truly exercise restraint... I am the kind of person who wants to go all in at the first sign of opportunity. It took being cut multiple times to understand this principle. The phrase "reverence for the market" sounds easy, but in reality, it requires going through painful lessons to truly grasp it.

Holding back from going all in is really the key to making money; those guys who went all in have already been wiped out.

Restraint is really a skill, brother. Your summary hits the nail on the head. I used to be all in, and a single pullback would wipe me out. It was only later that I realized that stop-loss is more valuable than anything else.
