Bitmine Accelerated Staking Causes Surge in ETH in Validation Queue; New Validators Must Wait Nearly 17 Days
Summary: Ethereum Treasury Company Bitmine has deposited an additional 82,560 ETH into the Ethereum staking system, bringing the total staked ETH to 544,064, valued at approximately $16.2 billion. The current Ethereum validator queue has increased to about 977,000 ETH, with new validators facing a wait time of nearly 17 days. The withdrawal queue exceeds 113,000 ETH.
Currently, over 35.5 million ETH are staked, accounting for 29% of the total supply, with an annualized yield of approximately 2.54%. According to Odaily Planet Daily, after Bitmine deposited 82,560 ETH into the Ethereum staking system again, the total staked ETH has risen to 544,064, valued at about $16.2 billion at current prices. Due to recent accelerated staking by Bitmine, the Ethereum validator queue has increased to approximately 977,000 ETH. New validators are expected to wait nearly 17 days, and the ETH in the withdrawal queue awaiting exit exceeds 113,000. Data from the Ethereum network shows that over 35.5 million ETH are staked, representing about 29% of the total supply, with an annualized staking yield close to 2.54%.
