Recently, I have been trading futures contracts of the RIVER token. I entered a long position at 15.2. By 16.8, I had already gained an 11% increase. I initially wanted to hold on, but then I thought it’s better to be cautious—withdraw the principal first and let the profits run. In such market conditions, a major move really depends on the formation of a double needle on the 4-hour chart, so my plan is to place one order at 15.2 and another at 14.6, just for fun, not heavy positions. Set the stop loss at 13, and aim for a take profit above 20.

My trading experience with BREV has been a bit frustrating. I used a copy trading system from a top exchange. I was in isolated margin mode, only risking 10% of my position, with an additional 20% margin to handle volatility. The strange thing is, the system didn’t follow the trader’s operations synchronously, causing those copying the trades to be forcibly liquidated in isolated margin. This doesn’t seem like a small issue; it looks like a system-level bug that needs to be reported immediately.

Another lesson— I previously bought a certain coin, thinking I could just exit when I could break even, and I finally managed to escape. Reflecting on that period, all the fuss was pointless. The reason is clear: these kinds of air coins have no real use cases, relying solely on hype. Once the hype dies down, they have no value. This time, I invested heavily and learned a lesson: always look at the project’s fundamentals.

Withdrawing principal to let profits run is indeed a safe move, but I think RIVER still needs a confirmed breakthrough signal before acting, otherwise it's just catching flying knives. The BREV incident was hilarious; a system bug at the leading exchange caused forced liquidation. This kind of thing is just too outrageous, it needs to be escalated and reported. The hype around altcoins has long been transparent; once the enthusiasm fades, they are really nothing. Fundamentals will always be the king. I've also heard quite a few cases of copy trading systems executing trades, so be careful. Let's see if we can hold above 20, but it feels a bit uncertain.

ngl that BREV sync failure screams typical exchange incompetence... traced through their api calls and the pattern matches previous liquidity pool exploits they've "accidentally" had. stop trusting their infrastructure fr fr

Withdrawing the principal to let the profits run is a good move, but the market risk is really high. A single system bug can liquidate someone, which is outrageous.

Withdraw the principal to let the profits run; I’m familiar with this trick. But for RIVER, we still need to confirm on the 4h timeframe. Don’t be too greedy; after all, the 20 target is a bit far, be careful of a pullback. The bug in the order system is unbelievable; forced liquidation is not a big deal, but the key is that trust is directly maximized, right? Even with 10% position size, you can get trapped; if it were me, I’d file a complaint to the end. I understand the blood, sweat, and tears of the altcoin era; once the hype fades, the true nature is exposed. Fundamentals are the real king; they are more reliable than any technical analysis.

Withdrawing principal in this move is still smart; I'm just worried that greed might lead to even greater losses. However, I've heard the double needle theory too many times; when the real breakdown happens, these technical indicators are all false.

Basically, we still have to wait for a technical breakout; otherwise, these small rebounds are just traps... The BREV thing sounds ridiculous, can the leading exchanges also drop the ball? We need to ask them what's going on.
