Bitcoin's funding rates just hit a 5-month peak. Meanwhile, open interest keeps climbing even as price keeps sliding lower. Meanwhile equities are going absolutely nuts.

Something doesn't quite add up here, does it?

Personally, I'm still holding my crypto bags. Mentally ringed-fenced them as swing plays stretching into February. A bit of volatility? Doesn't shake me. The liquidation maps tell an interesting story though—plenty of positions stacked at certain levels, which means the real moves might be waiting just around the corner.

The funding rate is so high and it's still falling, which is truly outrageous. It's definitely a case of being caught in a loop.

Funding rate surges but the price moves in the opposite direction, this is outrageous.

With such high funding rates, you still dare to leverage up. Truly impressive.

It seems that the funding rate is soaring while the price is still falling, and this contradictory situation is a bit frustrating.
