Are Malaysians of Chinese descent second-class citizens?

First, let me say the conclusion is yes.
This is not just my opinion; it's what the local Chinese community themselves say. Whether it's studying, employment, or government policies, they tend to favor Malays. Chinese people, unless they are particularly outstanding, can only get into good schools and good positions.
Most taxi🚕 drivers are either Chinese or Indian. Talking to them, I learned they are third-generation immigrants. Elderly people generally do not have pensions and still have to work as Grab drivers to make a living.
There are many Indians in Malaysia, but their overall quality is quite high. They are also third-generation immigrants. They identify themselves as Malays, not Indians.
Malays indigenous to the land, due to their Islamic faith, can legally have three wives. However, Chinese people are only allowed one wife.
