Here comes the censorship of prediction markets again. New York State's approach is becoming increasingly meticulous.
Regulation is like this—always trying to balance both sides, but in the end, nothing can be effectively controlled.
This logic is absurd. Banning detailed bets but allowing final odds—can't I just split my orders to bypass it?
Prediction markets are inherently the soul of free markets. How effective can such a ban be?
Separating political and sports regulation... I feel like they genuinely don't understand the logic of DeFi.
All under the guise of "risk control," but in reality, they just want to dominate the pricing power.
New York's move is a bit shady, but they have so much power, so they get away with it.
U.S. regulation is becoming increasingly ridiculous. Now prediction markets are moving on-chain.
In the end, users will find ways around it. The more regulations, the more loopholes.
If this bill passes, all the degens will just move to Polymarket, haha.
Basically, they haven't thought through how to regulate properly; they're just targeting speculation.

Here we go again with bans here and bans there, but being able to ban political votes is a good thing. The manipulation risk is just too high.
---
Wait, the final results can be voted on but the details can't? How is that fair? Is this a shell game?
---
New York seems to want to slowly choke the prediction market to death, a disguised ban under the guise of regulation.
---
Interesting, they keep the most profitable parts, and ban everything else... Those who understand, understand.
---
Prediction markets should be regulated in the first place. The current chaos definitely needs to be addressed.
---
Banning sports details but keeping the final victory or defeat? That standard is really vague, and enforcement later will surely cause headaches.
---
Basically, it's selective regulation. As long as we don't gamble on politics, it's fine.
---
Is it reasonable? I think it's unreasonable, but at least it's better than a total ban.

New York has started playing this game again, banning this and that, they just don't want us to make money.
---
Here we go again, sports betting on the final result is allowed, but not the details? Who came up with this logic? It's a bit ridiculous.
---
I can understand banning political event betting, but can this kind of dividing line really stop people? Anyway, we have other places to play.
---
Prediction markets are inherently a gray area. If regulation really comes, this ecosystem will definitely undergo a reshuffle.
---
So in the end, only the NBA can be played? What about the big A-shares? This differential treatment is excessive.
---
Interesting, New York wants to "balance"? I think they just want to shift the risk to retail investors, just for their own benefit.
---
Banning for four or five years, and after the hype dies down, they'll still play. This is the routine of regulatory authorities.

Coming back to prediction markets again? These folks in New York are really bored. Just banning a detail in betting can control the risk? Haha, this cracks me up.

New York, are you trying to stir up trouble again? Banning betting details but allowing bets on the final result... This logic is a bit ridiculous, it feels like they're just playing under a different disguise.

This logic is very strange. Banning the details but allowing the final result? Isn't that still gambling?

Why is this logic so funny, hiding the details and only showing the results? Is regulation really just turning a blind eye selectively?
