I recently came across an interesting wealth data report.

Mainland China's average millionaire takes about 43 years to accumulate their first 9 million in assets—just thinking about it is quite frustrating, as they spend the first 30+ years building a foundation. Going from hundreds of thousands to millions usually takes around 10 years, which indicates that wealth growth becomes exponentially harder after reaching a certain level.

Another detail is that about 7 million in liquid assets is considered middle class. A few years ago, this standard was definitely different, but now it has become the new dividing line. The asset threshold is rising, and this is a fact.

The report also mentions that 34% of respondents... (data not fully shown), but what can we infer from these fragments? The increasing inequality in wealth distribution is a visible phenomenon.

For those involved in asset allocation, these data are worth pondering. The long accumulation cycle through traditional channels might be the reason more and more people are turning to BTC and other crypto assets as alternative investment paths. In the long run, diversification and moderate participation in emerging asset classes may be one of the ways to break through the wealth growth bottleneck.

Is 9 million only at age 43? Man, these numbers need to be updated; inflation is so fast. --- 70 million is considered middle class? I need to work harder for another ten years. --- Traditional methods can't compete anymore; no wonder so many people are rushing into crypto. --- The exponential difficulty is real, so I need to change my approach. --- The wealth threshold is getting higher every year; I really can't hold on without adding some new assets. --- From a million to ten million takes ten years... feels like I still have another thirty years to wait. --- The real opportunities are in these emerging sectors; traditional channels are already saturated. --- Asset allocation needs to be diversified; going all-in on traditional assets is too passive.

Only 9 million at age 43, that's really impressive. How does our generation survive? 7 million to be considered middle class? The threshold is getting more and more ridiculous. The traditional path is slow and competitive; no wonder more and more people are going all in on crypto. Working a regular job really puts you at a disadvantage; it's better to think more about other options. Wealth disparity is too obvious; making money is becoming increasingly difficult. The term "exponential difficulty" hits the nail on the head and touches the pain points. If you don't try something new, you'll really be waiting a lifetime.

Is it really possible to save only 9 million by age 43? I believe it, anyway, working is about the same pace. --- 7 million in liquid assets counts as middle class, so I need to wait another ten years. --- The traditional accumulation cycle is so ridiculous, no wonder people are starting to tinker with crypto. Since you can't really make money, why not take a chance? --- Everyone can see that wealth distribution is uneven, the key is how to break the deadlock. --- It sounds nice to say diversified allocation, but basically it means not putting all your eggs in one basket. Some people have indeed gained an edge by this shortcut with BTC. --- A million to ten million in ten years? Come on, most people will never reach a million in their lifetime. --- Looking at this data makes me feel bad, always feeling like I’m just one step away from success. --- Emerging assets do have opportunities, but you also need to find the right way to approach them.

At 43 years old with only 9 million, I guess I’ll have to rely on going all-in on BTC to turn things around. --- Is 7 million considered middle class? I haven't even held onto 700 bucks. --- Traditional channels take 30 years, crypto can wipe you out in 30 seconds. I choose the latter. --- Wealth distribution is uneven? Basically, some people make quick money, others make slow money. I belong to the group that loses money. --- Looking at this data, I feel reassured. Anyway, everyone is struggling, so I don’t have to be so anxious haha. --- Going from hundreds of thousands to millions takes ten years? I went from ten thousand to bankruptcy with just one contract liquidation. --- So, diversification? I’ve lost with BTC, ETH, and USDT all at different times. What kind of diversification is that?
