France is once again exposed to cryptocurrency "gunpoint robbery" cases. In the Manosque area, a residential home was maliciously invaded, with three masked men armed with guns breaking in forcibly, tying up the female resident, and threatening her with firearms before stealing a USB storage device—containing her partner's private key information for their crypto assets. Fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured, and the police have filed a case and are investigating. This serves as a reminder to holders: the security of digital assets not only requires protection against electronic hackers but also against physical threats, which can be equally deadly. Cold wallets and offline storage, as classic advice, are especially relevant in cases like this.
