Recently, wallets have been repeatedly compromised, and hackers have been especially active during the holiday season. Fortunately, these were all small-scale addresses, so the losses were relatively manageable. Thanks to someone helping me organize all the addresses, I discovered that the ETH in old addresses was also affected — the整理工作 at critical moments saved a life.

This lesson is profound: never continue to operate on a Windows computer for on-chain interactions. The system security vulnerabilities are too risky, and hackers can easily obtain private keys by exploiting this. If all the ETH in those old addresses are stolen, the consequences would be unimaginable. Fortunately, the issue was discovered in time and measures were taken.

Advice to everyone: regularly check key addresses, immediately migrate to a more secure system environment. Address consolidation is not only for convenience but also the first step in risk prevention.

Oh no, Windows really is a hacker's paradise. Learned a painful lesson this time. Bro, how are you so lucky to notice it in time? Otherwise, you'd really be crying your eyes out. I think the key is to use a hardware wallet. Even if you go through some trouble, it's better than being wiped out instantly. During the holiday season, hackers are especially rampant. Everyone really shouldn't slack off. This move was like grabbing a life, and I need to seriously reflect on my own security awareness.

Bro, this loss was worth it. Windows is really a big pitfall. I'm still feeling uneasy even when using Mac now.

Windows really should be discontinued. I only realized after experiencing losses, now I’ve switched entirely to Mac. Ah, organizing addresses is truly a lifesaver, otherwise you’d never know which wallet was emptied. Can you accept small losses? Brother, your mindset is incredible. I was completely broken at that time. Remember this: security systems > convenience. A painful lesson learned. The rate of hacker activity during holidays is indeed high, hard to defend against. I’ve also started regularly organizing my assets to avoid regrets later. By the way, why not use a hardware wallet? It’s a one-time solution for peace of mind.
