Ethereum plans to conduct two network upgrades in 2026. The first half of the year will feature Glamsterdam, and the second half will introduce Hegota. The focus is on enhancing network scalability, improving transaction execution efficiency, and laying the groundwork for future functionalities such as parallel processing. While these technical improvements may not be immediately noticeable to users, they are expected to strengthen the network's infrastructure, thereby promoting DeFi activities and developer adoption. Analysts believe that following the 2025 upgrades Pectra and Fusaka, these planned upgrades will solidify Ethereum's core position in the crypto financial system, pushing the price of Ethereum toward $4000.
