The crypto space has a credibility problem we can't ignore. Some prominent voices only push narratives after getting validation elsewhere—or when someone's paying them to do it. They rent their reputation like it's an asset on a balance sheet rather than something earned through genuine conviction. When incentives align with payouts instead of truth, how do retail investors even know what's real anymore? This disconnect between public recommendations and private motivations is exactly why market education and transparency matter so much in Web3.

That's why I usually don't trust those influencers unless they dare to publicly disclose their holdings.

You're so right, that's why I don't trust KOLs anymore... It really comes down to who has more money and who has the say.

yeah ngl this is why i still prefer on-chain signals over twitter narratives... seen too many "influencers" flip their takes the moment the paycheck clears. back in the day you either believed in the tech or you didn't, wasn't this whole rental reputation game

*adjusts alchemical instruments* ah, the ancient transmutation of integrity into yield... we're witnessing the philosopher's stone of deception, where reputation becomes just another liquidity pool to exploit. the risk-adjusted returns on dishonesty clearly outweigh moral conviction in their APY calculations. truly tragic when the protocol of trust breaks down like an undercollaterlized CDP.

Basically, today's KOLs are just salespeople. What faith are you really talking about?

That's what I was talking about. On-chain data can be checked clearly in the contract and won't deceive you. You can easily see the leverage positions of certain big V's, and they still have the nerve to endorse? You should have realized the day the collateralization ratio fell below the threshold.
