Commercial spaceflight is making big moves again. Recently, a news report stated that Jianyuan Technology's 5.2 billion yuan investment to build an offshore reusable rocket production base in Zhejiang has officially broken ground. This is not an ordinary industrial project but the country's first offshore reusable rocket production base. The accompanying "Qiantang" rocket was also unveiled, marking a major upgrade in the layout of the commercial space industry.

From a technical perspective, this base is highly significant. Once completed, it will have an annual capacity of 25 launches, covering the entire chain of production, testing, and recovery in a closed-loop system. The key lies in rocket recovery and reuse—this is the core breakthrough for cost reduction. For a long time, domestic commercial space recovery efforts have mainly focused on land-based operations, leaving offshore recovery as a blank spot. This project directly fills that industry gap.

Behind the 5.2 billion yuan investment scale is a clear prediction of the commercial space market. Whether from the perspective of technological independence or capacity layout, this is not an experimental project but a concrete move to secure a share in the global space market. The maturity and scale of rocket recovery technology will directly impact the future competitiveness of commercial spaceflight. This industry progress may become a new hot spot for capital attention, warranting ongoing tracking of technological implementation and industry expansion.

No one has really touched the offshore recovery sector, and with 5.2 billion invested, it seems like Yuan Yuan is serious about playing for real.

5.2 billion... This recycling route is really well-planned; the move to fill the gaps at sea is indeed ruthless.

Spending 5.2 billion, this time we're really going for it. The marine recovery part has finally been made up for.

Maritime recycling is really a good idea. We're tired of land-based methods, so this time we're opening up a new battleground. Investing 5.2 billion isn't a joke.
