#稳定币与RWA发展 Korea's recent legislative actions are quite interesting. The 100% reserve requirement for stablecoins, no-fault compensation liability, and information disclosure standards aligned with traditional finance—basically, using traditional financial safeguards to regulate the crypto ecosystem. From a copy-trading perspective, this is actually a good signal.
The clearer the regulation, the more controllable the risks for market participants. Past cases of runaways and asset freezes were fundamentally due to regulatory vacuum. Now, Korea explicitly requires issuers to deposit real funds in banks, with thorough bankruptcy isolation, which actually reduces systemic risk when we follow traders.
However, we also need to see clearly—this bill is still in the negotiation stage. The Financial Committee and the Central Bank still have disagreements over issuer qualifications and approval mechanisms, and it won't be submitted until next year. This means that in the short term, the stablecoin market will remain as it is, and only in the long term can we expect regulatory benefits.
The takeaway for copy-trading strategies is: observe how traders who have pre-positioned themselves under regulatory expectations adjust their positions. Some aggressive traders might leverage more due to increased regulatory certainty, while some conservative traders might lock in gains before regulations are implemented. Different trading styles react very differently, which is exactly the value of diversified copy-trading—using a portfolio to hedge against policy risks of individual strategies.
Korea's framework will gradually influence other markets, and it's worth ongoing observation.
