Central banks are making strategic moves. Poland's monetary authority is pushing to bolster its gold reserves, framing it through a "national security" lens. This signals growing concern among policymakers about macroeconomic stability and asset diversification. When traditional financial institutions shift toward hard assets like gold, it often reflects broader uncertainty about currency strength and inflation pressures—factors that typically correlate with increased crypto market activity. Worth monitoring how this broader central bank trend plays out.

The Polish Central Bank's recent moves are essentially just prolonging the devaluation of fiat currency. Theoretically, it should be feasible, but in reality, this old-fashioned approach of hard asset allocation has been almost cracked by us DeFi players using smart contracts. Interestingly, these central bank officials have finally become restless and are starting to lean towards crypto, albeit a belated consensus. However, it's just another useless innovation, and we'll have to see how it develops later.
