What are the common challenges in implementing verification proofs at the Bitcoin layer? On-chain costs are not significantly high, but off-chain expenses have become a major obstacle.

Many designs similar to BitVM are stuck here. The cost structure is unbalanced—on-chain costs are not noticeably cheap, while off-chain costs are prohibitively expensive.

A breakthrough has emerged. The BABE scheme has broken through this dilemma.

What has it achieved? It has managed to keep the on-chain dispute verification costs within a reasonable range of BitVM3 while drastically reducing the off-chain storage and configuration overhead—by a factor of 1000 times.

What does this mean? The economic model of verification proofs is moving from theory to practicality, becoming something that can truly be implemented.

1000x? How much would that be... Finally, someone has figured this out.

A 1000x drop? If that can really be achieved, the BitVM path will finally have some hope. The previous solutions were indeed awkward; on-chain doesn't save much money, and off-chain is actually a bottomless pit.

Cut down to 1000 times the cost? Sounds like just another PPT plan; we'll have to wait until it's actually launched to say anything.

1000x? If that's true, the path of BitVM finally sees the light. Those previous solutions were really a drag.

1000x? Isn't that bragging? It feels a bit unrealistic. Will this time BABE really break through, or is it just another plan on paper? I've heard about reducing costs so many times; let's wait until it's actually implemented. After all this time tinkering with BitVM, there's finally some hope. Off-chain overhead is indeed a tough hurdle, but 1000x might be a bit exaggerated. Another救世方案, let's wait and see if it can be realized. If this really happens, the Bitcoin ecosystem will truly come back to life.

1000x? I don't believe you, it depends on how it actually performs when it runs.

honestly the 1000x off-chain cost reduction sounds too good to be true... where's the formal proof? show me the bytecode or i'm calling vaporware on this one
