Should you participate in the MagicBlock presale?

MagicBlock announced the launch of the $BLOCK token presale on January 15. The presale program will start on February 5, 2025, and will last for 3 days, consisting of two main phases:

1. Phase - WL Priority (First 24 Hours): Addresses on the whitelist will have 24 hours to participate. To join this phase, participants must be core members of the MagicBlock community or addresses that have interacted with MagicBlock applications on-chain.

2. Phase - General (Next 48 Hours): 24 hours after being whitelisted, anyone with remaining allocations can participate.

MagicBlock offers participants a choice between two purchasing methods.

Option 1 - FCFS: 100% of tokens will be available at TGE (Total Validity Date). The token price is determined by bonding curves that correspond to the FDV ranging from $100 million to $200 million, which translates to a Future Value (Futures Market Value) between $0.01 and $0.02.

Option 2 - Allocation Request: Request an allocation at a fixed price equivalent to a $100 million final market cap. (After the presale, there is a one-week review period to decide on allocations, and if participants choose this method, their access to the system will be restricted for one year after the final sale.)

Regarding the TGE timeline, it is expected to occur at the end of Q1 or the beginning of Q2 2026. The exact timing depends on the project's development and audit progress. Therefore, whether to participate in MagicBlock's presale is a very important question.

In my opinion, I wouldn't participate anymore because a valuation between $100 million and $200 million is no longer attractive.

MagicBlock's market position is even lower than these two, so a $100-200 million FDV is not attractive enough to participate.
