This upgrade, available in Gate App V8.6.0 and later versions, focuses on optimizing core mechanisms such as commission structure, trading scenarios and task-based incentives, to further enhance streamers' monetization capabilities and long-term earning potential while fostering a more efficient positive feedback loop between content creation and user trading activity.

Under the upgraded framework, Gate Live has systematically expanded its livestream commission system. Eligible streamers can now earn up to 30% in trading fee commissions, consisting of up to 20% base commission plus an additional up to 10% unlocked through milestone-based tasks. The revised commission structure is clearer, and the revenue path is more transparent, helping streamers form stable expectations around the sustainability of their livestream income.

Meanwhile, the upgrade introduces a new token component commission mechanism within livestream rooms. During a livestream, streamers can guide viewers into trading scenarios through token tags or token components (such as $BTC / $ETH). When users watch the stream, click on the relevant token component, and complete trading activities, whether in Spot, Futures, Alpha, or Gate Fun, streamers will receive the corresponding trading fee commissions. This mechanism directly connects livestream content with real trading behavior, further improving conversion efficiency and revenue density within livestream sessions.

In terms of participation requirements, Gate Live maintains an open and creator-friendly onboarding mechanism. Streamers who complete identity verification and fully set up their profiles (including avatar, nickname, and bio) are eligible to participate in the Live Mining commission program. Whether experienced content creators or newly onboarded streamers, anyone producing compliant and professional crypto-related content has the opportunity to achieve stable income growth through livestreaming. Newly onboarded streamers can also enjoy a 30-day limited-time commission boost, with base commission rates increased to as high as 30%.
