AppLovin (APP) shares dipped by about 6% during early post-market trading on Wednesday after reporting its fourth quarter 2025 financial results.
The stock decline occurred despite AppLovin topping estimates across the board.
For the quarter ended December 31, the Palo Alto-based ad tech company reported GAAP earnings per share of $3.24 compared to the $2.94 estimate.
Revenue for the quarter increased 66% year over year to total $1.658B, which was more than the $1.61B consensus.
Looking ahead to the first quarter of 2026, AppLovin expects revenue ranging from $1.745B to $1.775B, which completely clears the $1.7B estimate.
AppLovin also said it had repurchased $481M in shares during the fourth quarter and $2.58B throughout 2025.
AppLovin's post-market share decline was not nearly as pronounced as its competitor Unity Software (U), which plunged 26% following its fourth-quarter results, which were released post-market on Tuesday.
