Notion co-founder Akshay Kothari announced that Notion Custom Agents have introduced the open-source weight model MiniMax M2.5 and made it available to users as an experimental feature. It is reported that MiniMax M2.5 is listed independently on the model selection list as an “open-source weight model,” alongside Claude Sonnet 4.6, Opus 4.6, Haiku 4.5, GPT-5.2, and GPT-5.3 Codex. Kothari stated that for simple tasks, the cost of using this model is much lower than other closed-source models. Notion is an all-in-one workspace that integrates documents, notes, databases, and project management. Currently, it has over 100 million users worldwide and is widely used in personal productivity management and corporate team collaboration scenarios. (Sina Tech)
