Nvidia (US: NVDA; Chinese: 英偉達) CEO Jensen Huang attended Morgan Stanley’s Technology Conference and stated that Nvidia’s recent $30 billion investment in OpenAI “may be the last.” As for the infrastructure partnership agreement announced last September between the two companies, which was valued at $100 billion, he expressed doubts about its realization, as he expects OpenAI to go public by the end of the year.

Huang said, “If we provide the computing power OpenAI needs, revenue will follow. They will go public by the end of the year, and this could be Nvidia’s last chance to invest in such an influential company.”

Nvidia’s Final $10 Billion Investment in Anthropic

Huang also mentioned that Nvidia’s $10 billion investment in OpenAI’s competitor, Anthropic, will be the last. Nvidia had previously announced a joint plan with Microsoft (US: MSFT) last November to invest in Anthropic.
