UAE Leader, Trump Discuss Regional Security

(MENAFN) United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke with US President Donald Trump on Monday regarding the escalating tensions in the Middle East, the state news agency WAM reported.

The leaders reviewed recent Iranian attacks on the UAE and other regional countries, assessing the impact on stability. They also discussed broader regional developments and their implications for regional and international peace and security.

Tensions intensified after a joint US-Israeli strike on Iran on Saturday killed several senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, prompting retaliatory drone and missile attacks by Tehran on Israel, US assets, and multiple Gulf nations.
