【Zhong Peisheng Closes the Market】 30-meter-high吊威 also plays "Jin Ju" Allen, proposes to the Civic Party's young star Zhuang Yating: a perfect Mikasa regret
Billionaire’s third generation, “Hong Kong eSports Father” Derek Chung (Derek) announces “closing the market”! He successfully proposed to Angel, a district councillor in Sai Kung known as the “Little Flower of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong.” Always flamboyant, Derek Chung went all out to create a scene from the Japanese anime masterpiece “Attack on Titan” for the proposal, even personally acting as the protagonist Eren, with a stunning display.

Jumping from 30 meters high to put a “love scarf” on his fiancée
As a seasoned anime fan, Derek Chung meticulously decorated his family mansion in Deep Water Bay. The scene included a life-sized “Attack on Titan” model over several meters tall, and a live orchestra performed a variation of the theme song, creating a grand atmosphere.
Derek wore the “3D maneuver gear” from the anime, and from about 30 meters above the mansion’s rooftop, he leapt down, perfectly recreating the Survey Corps’ heroic stance. Angel watched intently from the ground as her boyfriend descended from the sky. Then, Derek, like the anime hero Eren, gently draped a scarf around Angel’s neck, who played Mikasa, and knelt down to present a ring.
He made a love declaration: “I promise to love you, protect you, and care for you, for a lifetime.”
Derek Chung’s Threads post: A story completed with Angel
Regarding why he chose the “Titan” theme, Derek later revealed on social platform Threads that there was a deeper meaning behind it, humorously commenting on Hajime Isayama’s ending arrangement:
“Teacher Isayama (the creator of Attack on Titan) didn’t let Eren and Mikasa get married in the ending, so Angel and I are completing the story.”
Derek: From eSports and boxing to “Plastic-Free Movement”

As a descendant of the late “Industrial Building King” Chung Kong-hai, Derek has a strong background, but he is better known for his pioneering role in the eSports industry and his outspoken, flamboyant personality. He founded Hong Kong Electronic Sports Limited and organized the “Pach Seng Arena: Invincible Cup,” a passionate competition featuring internet celebrities and amateurs, combining entertainment and fighting, supported by top sponsors.
Besides entertainment, he is outspoken on social issues. Recently, when Hong Kong implemented a ban on disposable plastic tableware (“plastic-free” initiative), Derek publicly expressed dissatisfaction with the difficulty of using wooden utensils. During Lunar New Year, he took action by visiting all 18 districts (including outlying islands) to distribute reusable PP plastic tableware sets for free.
The background of the soon-to-be Mrs. Chung, Angel, is also impressive—she was praised by Deng Bingqiang as “turning over a new leaf” after abandoning darkness

In addition to the grand proposal, the background of the female lead Angel is also highly notable. She is a member of the DAB (Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong), and in 2023, at age 23, she was appointed as Sai Kung District Councillor, breaking the record as the youngest district councillor. She graduated from Peking University. Last March, Security Secretary Deng Bingqiang publicly praised her decision to study at Peking University as a “turning over a new leaf.”
Angel also applied to participate in the Miss Hong Kong pageant last year and made it to the first round of interviews. She stated she hoped to use the beauty contest as a platform for communication, allowing citizens to understand local services. However, the event drew attention from the political circle. Secretary for Home Affairs and Youth Affairs Mak Mei-juan and DAB Chairman Chan Hak-kan emphasized that district councillors must “perform their duties responsibly.” Ultimately, Angel announced her withdrawal from the contest in late June via Instagram, citing that participation was “not acceptable to everyone,” and she decided to step back to avoid affecting public perception of the district council, focusing on her official duties.
