On February 24, Chongqing Bank announced that its board of directors approved the appointment of Wang Weilie as Chief Compliance Officer, pending approval from the Chongqing Regulatory Bureau of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.

Wang Weilie, male, born in September 1979, a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is currently a member of the Party Committee, Vice President, and Chief Risk Officer of Chongqing Bank Co., Ltd. Wang Weilie has previously served as Assistant to the President, Vice President, Acting Vice President, President of Bishan Branch, President of Cultural Palace Branch, General Manager of the Administrative Department, and General Manager of the Internal Control and Compliance Department. He graduated in July 2002 from Xiamen University with a degree in Statistics.
