Abstract generation in progress

Bowhead Specialty Holdings and Universal Insurance Group both reported strong financial results for the fourth quarter, with both companies experiencing significant premium growth and improved underwriting metrics. Bowhead Specialty saw a 21.3% increase in gross written premiums and a 13.5% return on equity, while Universal Insurance Group’s net income reached $66.6 million, largely due to a lower net loss ratio and higher net premiums earned. Both insurers are heading into 2026 with positive momentum.
