The platform specialized in providing tools to bypass multi-factor authentication, executing attacks through fake login pages and session token theft.
Microsoft has blocked 330 domains related to the platform, while Coinbase helped identify the platform administrators through blockchain transaction tracking. According to reports, Tycoon 2FA accounted for 62% of phishing attempts blocked by Microsoft in mid-2025, sending over 30 million phishing emails per month, impacting industries from healthcare to education, leading to data breaches and stolen funds.
Blockchain security firm Certik previously stated that phishing scams were the second-largest threat in 2025, causing $722 million in losses for crypto investors.
