Canada commits to continue providing military aid to Ukraine

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement on the 24th, pledging to continue providing military aid to Ukraine. In the statement, Trudeau said that the Canadian Armed Forces will extend their training mission for Ukrainian personnel. He outlined a new aid package, including approximately 2 billion CAD (about 1.46 billion USD) in military assistance and 20 million CAD (about 14.6 million USD) for repairing infrastructure damaged in the conflict. Trudeau also mentioned that Canada is implementing new sanctions on relevant financial supporters and further lowering the price cap on Russian crude oil. (Xinhua)
