Canadian stock market fell over 3.6% this week, with the 10-year Canadian bond yield rising approximately 28 basis points.

Gelonghui March 7 | Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite Index closed down 1.57%, at 33,083.72 points, down 3.66% for the week; small-cap stocks declined 1.42%, at 1,370.57 points, down 6.23% for the week. On Friday (March 6), in North America’s late trading, Canada’s 10-year benchmark government bond yield rose 5.5 basis points to 3.405%, up a total of 27.8 basis points for the week.
