Big Data Reveals: Travelers' Dwell Time at Seven Major Stations During Spring Festival Travel Rush Shortened by Over 10% Compared to the Same Period Three Years Ago

Since the start of the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush, big data has revealed significant changes in travelers’ dwell time at train stations. Guangzhou South Station, one of the busiest railway hubs in the country, handles over 530,000 passengers daily during this Spring Festival travel period, a 14% increase compared to the same period three years ago. Despite the rise in passenger numbers, the station has not become more crowded.
