Before the CPI release, the probability of the Federal Reserve holding interest rates steady in March is 99.3%

Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to CME “Federal Reserve Watch”: the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points by March is 0.7%, and the probability of holding rates steady is 99.3%. The probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut by April is 10.9%, with an 89.1% chance of no change, and a 0.1% chance of a total 50 basis point cut. By June, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 33.1%. (Jin10)
