On March 9th, Wuxi High-tech Zone released the “Several Measures to Support the Integration and Development of OpenClaw and Other Open Source Community Projects with the OPC Community (Draft for Comments).” The 12 policies for “raising lobsters” range from basic support to industrial implementation, from talent recruitment to safety and compliance, with individual support amounts up to 5 million yuan. The draft proposes that local cloud platforms providing free deployment and development toolkits will receive a full subsidy of up to 1 million yuan. For OPC projects using local intelligent computing platforms, subsidies will be provided based on actual costs, with a maximum of 300,000 yuan per year per company. Additionally, projects based on OpenClaw that develop industrial quality inspection, equipment predictive maintenance, and other vertical large models and are registered with the national authorities will be rewarded with 500,000 yuan; breakthroughs in key technologies such as embodied intelligent robots and smart quality inspection will be supported with up to 5 million yuan; and the establishment of “AI + Manufacturing” joint open-source laboratories is encouraged. Leading the development of open-source frameworks or setting industry standards can receive a maximum reward of 1 million yuan. (Wuxi Release)
