EU Aviation Safety Agency extends Middle East conflict airspace flight warning until March 18
European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) extends warning for Middle East and Persian Gulf conflict zones until March 18, 2026, due to escalating military conflicts between the United States, Israel, and Iran, which continue to pose high risks to civil aviation. According to the announcement, all flight altitudes in the airspace of multiple countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, are considered high-risk areas. The announcement explicitly recommends that EU airlines and third-country operators authorized by EASA cease all flight activities at all altitudes in the affected airspace and closely follow official guidance.
