(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“The target was hit, causing significant damage to production facilities,” the statement said.

The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.

The report notes that Kremniy El is a critically important link in the production chain of Russia’s precision weapons. The plant specializes in discrete semiconductor technology and integrated circuits, which act as the “brains” and “nervous system” of modern weapons, including Iskander missiles.

Earlier, on March 10, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a successful operation targeting the Russian factory producing missile control systems.
