Abstract generation in progress

The NFT market continues to demonstrate its potential as both a creative platform and an investment platform. Artists now have a tool for direct monetization of their work, while collectors can acquire rare digital assets with verified authenticity. October 2025 left a series of record-breaking transactions in the crypto community’s memory. At that time, Crypto.ru identified the most significant sales in the NFT space, showing how highly authentic digital art is valued.

The Merge: the most expensive NFT of all time

The top spot still belongs to Pak’s The Merge — a work that redefined the concept of digital asset value. This ambitious collection attracted nearly 30,000 participants who collectively invested $91.8 million. The scale of such interest indicates that the most expensive NFT can unite entire communities of investors and art enthusiasts. The Merge demonstrates the evolution of the market from individual purchases to collective patronage.

Everdays and Clock: the path to astronomical prices

In second place is Everdays — a collection of 5,000 unique tokens. Its sale happened rapidly, generating a volume of $69.3 million. The third position is quite notable: the Clock collection was fully purchased by the organization Assange. The total transaction amount was $52.8 million. Both of these NFT projects showed that high-priced digital assets hold powerful ideological and cultural significance.

Human One and CryptoPunk #5822: the elite segment of the market

Fourth place is Human One — a work valued at $28.9 million, which experts consider one of the most ambitious experiments in the NFT industry. Closing the top five is the legendary CryptoPunk #5822 — a token sold for $23.7 million. This sale set a new record in the CryptoPunks collection, confirming that historic pixel portraits remain an investment asset of the highest class.

Other notable sales in the NFT space

Beyond the top 5, the market recorded several significant transactions that also deserve attention:

  • CryptoPunk #7523 — sold for $11.75 million
  • CryptoPunk #3100 — sold for $7.67 million
  • Ringers #109 — exchanged for $7.1 million

Each of these positions demonstrates that even outside the absolute top segment, the most expensive NFTs remain attractive investments and culturally significant. The market continues to develop, and prices for quality digital assets reflect the growing maturity of the ecosystem.
