Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Zhu Tongyu suggests relying on the National Public Health Information Platform to promote the construction of a unified “Resident Health Record Inquiry Portal” across provinces and cities. It is mandatory for medical institutions to provide patient export data that complies with national health information standards, ensuring that data can be recognized and reused when patients are referred between different hospitals. Zhu Tongyu explained that building a unified patient data query and download platform, standardizing data formats and interface standards, will help establish a patient-authorized data circulation mechanism, truly achieving “data following the patient.” It will also significantly promote the application of artificial intelligence in the medical field and empower health management across society.
