People’s Financial News, March 11 — On March 11, Fuzhou Public Transport Group and CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The two parties will collaborate on after-market services for bus batteries, building urban battery swapping networks, battery recycling and reuse, and vehicle-grid interaction (V2G). As the largest public transportation operator in Fujian Province, Fuzhou Public Transport Group has fully electrified its vehicle fleet. This signing aims to address the challenges of charging efficiency and battery lifespan after large-scale operation of electric buses, jointly creating a safer, more efficient, lower-carbon, and smarter urban public transportation energy system, and promoting the extension of battery assets from “usage” to “recycling.”
