According to CCTV News, on March 11 local time, California Governor Gavin Newsom posted on social media that the state is monitoring all potential threats, including those related to the Middle East conflict.

Newsom stated that there are no imminent dangers at present, but California is prepared to respond to any emergency.

Previously, CCTV News reported that an internal U.S. document warned that the FBI had alerted California law enforcement that “Iran may retaliate for U.S. attacks by launching drones toward the U.S. West Coast.” The report noted that Iran is over 10,000 kilometers away from the California coast.

According to Xinhua News Agency, on the 8th and 9th, Newsom repeatedly posted on social media criticizing the Trump administration’s military actions against Iran, which led to rising oil prices in California and across the U.S., causing losses for American citizens. Newsom pointed out that the Trump administration launched this “costly” and “illegal” war, and the increase in oil prices was equivalent to “taxing all Americans.”
