Broadcom Sells Remote Computing Business in $4B Deal with KKR

Broadcom has announced the sale of its End-User Computing (EUC) unit to private equity firm KKR for $4 billion. This divestment is part of Broadcom’s strategy to streamline its business operations following its $69 billion acquisition of VMware last year. The EUC unit, which includes products like Horizon and Workspace One, will operate as a standalone company under KKR, retaining its current management team and focusing on product innovation and strategic partnerships.
