Multiple Brain-Computer Interface Research Centers Established in Shanghai
Reporters learned from the First Shanghai Blueborn Brain Science and Brain-Computer Interface International Forum that multiple brain-computer interface research centers have established in Shanghai. The “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center Shanghai Blueborn Brain Science and Brain System Innovation Research Center” was officially inaugurated. This center will leverage the technological resources of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center and the clinical advantages of Shanghai Blueborn Brain Science to promote the integration of artificial intelligence technology with clinical brain research, aiming for breakthrough and disruptive achievements. Additionally, the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences - Shanghai Blueborn Brain Science “Brain-Computer Engineering and AI Basic and Clinical Research Innovation Consortium” and Tongji University Affiliated Tianyue Hospital - Galaxy Brain (Beijing) Medical Co., Ltd. “National Neuromodulation Precision Targeted Therapy Demonstration Center” were also inaugurated successively. The former focuses on core technologies such as brain-computer interfaces and neural modulation; the latter will establish quality standards for neural modulation and promote precision diagnosis and treatment technologies.
