Ping An Bank Shanghai Branch Launches "Ping An Accompanies You, Protecting Riders Together" Educational Publicity and Public Welfare Care Campaign

Recently, a reporter learned from Ping An Bank’s Shanghai Branch that during the “3.15” Financial Consumer Rights Protection Education and Promotion Campaign, the bank partnered with Ping An Life Shanghai Branch to actively respond to the theme slogan “Clear Financial Networks, Protect Peace of Mind Consumption.” They visited the Rider Station at Kangqiao Road East Edge Apartment in Pudong New Area to carry out the “Safe Companion, Protect Riders Together” educational and promotional activity. Focusing on the “Two Companies and Two Members” (truck drivers, ride-hailing drivers, couriers, and food delivery workers), they brought financial knowledge and heartfelt care directly to their “doorsteps.”
At the event site, the “Rider Heartwarming Protection Station” was officially unveiled. This station is a dedicated consumer protection service platform for this group, providing a place for hardworking laborers to rest and learn. Professional instructors gave on-site lectures, using real cases to analyze scams such as fake rebates from online orders, impersonating customer service, false financial management, high-interest online loans, and credit card fraud, all tailored to the occupational characteristics and consumption habits of riders. Interactive Q&A sessions tested participants’ understanding, and comic books such as “Three-Minute Financial Knowledge” and “Three-Minute Telecom and Internet Scam Prevention,” jointly published by the head office and China Legal Publishing House, were distributed.
Meanwhile, volunteers also handed out “Consumer Protection Love Packs” containing practical items like shoulder and neck relief patches, cooling nasal inhalers, phone stands, and waterproof phone pouches. These thoughtfully addressed the long hours of travel, sitting, and standing that city “runners” often endure, making financial care tangible, visible, and heartwarming.
In the future, the bank will also coordinate with some courier and express delivery companies’ stations within their networks to carry out similar warm-hearted activities. This will ensure full coverage and care for the “Two Companies and Two Members” groups, using financial strength to protect every consumer’s legal rights and interests, and contribute to creating a clean, safe, and orderly financial consumption environment with Ping An’s support.
