March Power Review--Beginner Level, Advanced Level Dragon Riders
Beginner Dragon Rider: [Taogu Ba]
February 25th, Yunnan Energy Holdings makes a major turn, the previous four consecutive one-word boards, the business logic segment has completed. On this day, a major turn occurs with strong continuation. Detailed analysis is available in the previous detailed section.
According to the Dragon Rider Secret Code, quoting the ancient ancestor’s famous saying, think in a balanced way. Balance between greed and fear!
The chips from Lao Zhuang’s holdings haven’t finished moving. Profits from the one-word boards are partially released and cashed out on this day. Greed encourages market holders to enter, which is a relatively healthy balance.
The three consecutive limit-up drumming and passing the baton (emotional game) each day releases enough turnover to manage risk (fear).
I believe this segment with Yunnan Energy is an example of beginner Dragon Rider gameplay.
Why does Lao Zu often say not to play with monopolistic eating? Because the accumulation of fear on the one-word board is enough. Once this fear is broken, everyone rushes out. The higher the price, the more intense the panic, making it harder for outside holders to hold.
Also, a truly good dragon will fully release fear at low levels, reduce risk, and create a good balance, allowing the dragon to spiral upward.
I believe I have mastered the beginner Dragon Rider, and my account has already demonstrated my understanding is only up to this point.
Next, I will try to share my thoughts on advanced Dragon Rider. My first understanding may be a bit chaotic.
February 27th, Yunnan Energy makes 7 limit-ups, with follow-up gains of 3 and 2 limit-ups, and the first boards also have some follow-through. According to the leader’s sentiment, the echelon is also a form of balance. The 7-limit-up triggered a serious regulatory alert.
March 2nd, Monday, weekend conflicts between Iran and Israel/US stimulate crude oil prices, with the hottest sectors being petrochemicals, chemical raw materials, port-related concepts linked to geopolitical conflicts. Yunnan Energy also gave positive feedback, followed by two power sector boards.
According to Dragon Rider logic, everyone would participate in oil stocks. I also went into oil. When bigger themes emerge, it’s correct to pursue them. Most Dragon Rider players went to Shandong Molong or Intercontinental, but I chose what I believe is the strongest channel—Tongyuan Petroleum. In the face of certainty, the one that can give me more is the strongest.
At this point, the dragon is in oil. Lao Zu said, the dragon has always been there; it’s just that its essence has transferred to another stock. It’s the dragon choosing it (Intercontinental).
March 3rd and 4th are both about oil and chemical sector hype. Intercontinental Oil & Gas opens a one-word divergence, causing a major split in the oil sector. Brent crude oil is still rising, but oil stocks are not meeting expectations. On the 4th, futures diverge from A-shares, and oil enters an emotional game. A-shares related to oil, gold, and chemicals follow futures’ rise and fall. When Brent crude rises, A-shares tend to fall. The first day’s major divergence on the 4th is worth betting on (logic still holds). The next day, there’s normally an opportunity to sell. I timed these two days very accurately.
March 5th, the Shanghai Composite Index rises over 1 point, with the market rallying towards optical electronics and technology sectors. From a balance perspective, the index (around 4000 points) needs to be maintained. Managing liquidity balance.
My review on this day indicated it was likely a one-day rally. In the face of major events, if no bigger theme surpasses the previous hype, it’s basically a one-day rally.
What major events? Geopolitical conflicts, rising oil prices, energy shortages. Is there anything more eye-catching?
On the 5th, oil cools down, and the market leader Yunnan Energy rises again. I made this move based on cyclical thinking, without overthinking, simply believing this stock could hit another limit-up. Follow-up gains included Shun Na, Han Lan, Zhongchao, and Xidian. Many of these power stocks hit the limit-up that day, with many showing on the龙虎榜 (top traders list) indicating big funds are involved (Zhang Mengzhu, Ziyang East Road…). Why do they focus on power stocks? Because rising oil prices cause energy tension, which benefits power. The theme continues.
The dragon is on Shun Na (why is Han Lan at the same level? Because Shun Na has stronger funds, and funds are choosing it).
March 9th, Monday, the weekend’s small lobster story heats up, power sector funds show divergence. Lao Zu said the lobster story has flaws. Here, I encourage downloading, while above, I remind of installation risks. Some funds are wavering. Power sector stocks like Guxin Nengke (Guxin Energy), Jinkai New Energy top the list. Shun Na, with 4 limit-ups, shows divergence, which is a confirmed buy point for Dragon Rider.
On the 10th, Shun Na weakens and doesn’t hit the limit-up, so it should be sold. The same day, power stocks only have three limit-ups (Hua Electric Power, Green Power, Jinko Solar).
The Shanghai Index surges again, mainly supporting the tech sector—optical communications, semiconductors. The same logic applies: maintain the index.
Emotionally, power stocks have been oscillating high and low. If I still believe in the energy tension and the bullish logic for power, I choose from these three power stocks.
On the 11th, the hottest sector is chemicals, raw materials. The upward logic of this concept has been discussed before—geopolitical conflicts, long-term benefits for China’s chemical raw material exports. I believe this trend will develop (rare for chemicals to have such a strong short-term wave).
Power sector has 6 limit-up stocks (Zhongnan Culture, Huadian Energy, Energy-saving Wind Power, Green Power, Ganneng Co., China Energy Construction). Zhongnan Culture hit a one-word limit-up (not considering monopolistic plays);
China Energy Construction, with a market cap of 155.9 billion, boosts confidence in the sector. On the 10th, only Huadian Energy and Green Power hit the limit-up.
China Energy Construction hit the limit-up at 9:44 AM, providing a clear buy point in Dragon Rider. Either/or, it’s necessary to buy at least one, and the next day, you can expect a premium.
On the 12th, power stocks surged again due to China Energy Construction’s big move, with two limit-ups for China Energy Construction and three for Green Power and Huadian Energy.
On the 13th, Green Power’s limit-up was broken, offering an exit opportunity. Huadian Energy, with 4 limit-ups, held steady. Power stocks started to show decline, with some hitting the limit-down. Previously, I mentioned that a wave of limit-downs signals the end of the sector, so it’s time to exit. But this was only confirmed after market close. During the day, Shun Na’s leading stocks didn’t rise, funds were fleeing, and Yunnan Energy also lacked fund support, breaking down in the afternoon.
If Huadian Energy on the 11th had not been fully sold, only small positions would remain.
This is my understanding of this power sector rally.
Where is the next target chosen by the dragon? I don’t know. As long as I respect the market, follow the market, and go with the trend, I will be fine.
The Dragon Rider Secret Code deepened my understanding of the dragon. It is life itself. To survive, it constantly evolves and transforms. From 7 boards to 4 boards, it strives to survive within the rules of heaven.
Lao Zu: When you can’t find a certain opportunity in the market, a 100% certain one, just hold back. Focus mode, only by focusing on the dragon can you control your behavior.
This reflection on Dragon Rider faith—unexpectedly, there was a tip. Thanks to @Shang Mo Shixiong for the support~ Wishing your account profits every day!!
