Omdia: Huawei Captures Top Position in China Smartphone Sales for 2025

Market research firm Omdia released a report today (March 3), showing that global smartphone shipments will reach 1.25 billion units in 2025, a 2% increase year-over-year, reaching a new high since 2021. The 2025 China market shipment rankings are as follows: Huawei leads with a 17% share, with shipments up 2% year-over-year; vivo is second with a 16% share, with shipments down 7%; Apple ranks third with a 16% share, with shipments up 7%; Xiaomi is fourth with a 15% share, with shipments up 4%.
