On March 2nd, Nanchong City in Sichuan Province officially released the “Six Measures to Stabilize the New Birth Population Scale in Nanchong.” To reduce the costs of marriage, childbirth, parenting, and education, Nanchong is the first in the province to incorporate marriage support into its policy system. For couples registering their marriage for the first time within the city, a one-time personal housing consumption loan subsidy will be provided at 1% of the loan amount, with the maximum loan amount eligible for the subsidy being 200,000 yuan. This means that when young people get married and buy a house, the government will help share part of the mortgage interest. Notably, Nanchong’s housing subsidies are not limited to commercial residential properties but also cover commercial office spaces, shops, and parking spaces. Additionally, families who have a second or third child during the policy period and register the newborn’s household registration in Nanchong can receive housing subsidies of 50,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan respectively, with a maximum total subsidy of 150,000 yuan.
