KODE CNC (688305.SH) announced that recently, the company signed a revised agreement with Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “SAF”) for the “SAF-KODE CNC Excellence Innovation Center (COE) Co-Construction Agreement,” refining the core content such as R&D priorities outlined in the previous “Co-Construction Agreement.” After discussions, both parties will jointly establish the Excellence Innovation Center, focusing on the development of domestically produced key core components such as KODE CNC’s fully autonomous high-end five-axis machine tools and CNC systems. The collaboration will target typical aircraft component processing techniques, domestic equipment pilot verification, intelligent production line integration verification, and multi-domain collaborative “CNC workshop” areas.
The partnership will leverage KODE CNC’s自主可控 high-end five-axis machine tools, including at least seven types of equipment such as five-axis linkage vertical turning-milling composite processing centers and flexible units, five-axis linkage horizontal machining centers, gantry machining centers, and five-axis linkage horizontal flip milling machines. The focus will be on efficient and precise manufacturing of typical aerospace parts, developing advanced processing techniques for typical components, conducting pilot verification and standard system construction for domestic equipment, and deeply integrating and optimizing domestic high-end CNC systems for civil aviation scenarios. Together, they aim to promote the upgrading and development of China’s civil aircraft manufacturing technology and high-end five-axis machine tools and other equipment.
