Two Sessions Good Voices | Lin Yifu: To Boost Consumption, Income Distribution Must Shift Toward Lower-Income Groups

Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Dean of Peking University’s New Structural Economics Institute, Lin Yifu, said that to boost consumption, income distribution needs to be tilted toward those with lower income levels. Low-income groups should have employment opportunities, the ability to work, and health protections.
