Radar Financial News: CCTV’s 315 Gala exposed the bleaching of chicken feet with hydrogen peroxide, with companies purchasing over 5,000 barrels of hydrogen peroxide. According to national regulations, hydrogen peroxide cannot be used in chicken foot processing. This chemical first damages nutrients like proteins in food. Long-term consumption of foods soaked in it can cause health hazards such as damage to oral mucous membranes and liver and kidney function. Excessive intake can even be life-threatening.
